Project goals
The project is an integral component of a multi-donor initiative in support of the WB’s US$ 30 mln Health Reform Implementation Project. The objective of this project is to assist Russia in developing a national health care reform strategy by formulating standards and guidelines to accelerate the expansion of primary care and improve the cost-effectiveness of emergency, diagnostic and hospital services.The outcome would be an improvement in the quality, accessibility and financial sustainability of health services.Canadian professional services will be utilized to assist in the finalization and implementation of health services reform in the Chuvash Republic, one of the two pilot regions, and provide advice in a selected number of federal level health policy reform issues. |
